Twitter users point out wrong colors on Trump’s American flag drawing

One of the photos features the president, surrounded by children, coloring a photo of the American flag.

The drawing lying on the table in front of Trump, however, shows stripes colored red and blue, rather than red and white.

The alleged error was pointed out by users on Twitter, some of whom used the photo to criticize Trump’s opposition to NFL players who kneel during the national anthem in protest of police brutality and racial inequality.

“Trump literally doesn’t know what the American Flag looks like, but think’s he has the right to tell people that they can not kneel during the National Anthem…,” one Twitter user said Saturday.

“JFC, Trump! American flag’s stripes are red and white. Trump should know this, considering the fit he throws when someone kneels at a football game “disrespecting the flag”. Trump is coloring blue and red stripes,” another user tweeted.

“.@realDonaldTrump literally can’t even color the American flag correctly. You’d think that after all that random hugging of American flags, he could at least get this elementary school task right,” a political scientist tweeted.
