Ward 4 Councilwoman Muriel Bowser and Ward 4 School Board representative Kamili Anderson will be posted in a school zone Monday in an effort to get drivers to slow down as kids head back to school. Bowser and Anderson plan to station themselves at 13th Street and Missouri Avenue in Northwest Monday morning near the Paul Public Charter School and will be waving signs that read “Slow Down, School is in!” Bowser has participated in similar campaigns for the last three years, according to a news release. Bowser and Anderson are both running unopposed on the Nov. 6 General Election ballot.
