The email linked to the @POTUS Twitter account, the official Twitter account of the presidency, was a Gmail address until a White House email address was linked to it on Thursday.
The Washington Examiner confirmed the account linked to @POTUS was on a Gmail server and not on a White House server until just before 12:30 p.m. on Thursday. By 1 p.m., a White House email account had been added to the account, and the Gmail account disappeared.
