A shirtless, 19-year-old man was arrested by Atlanta police on Tuesday, after allegedly running onto a taxiway of Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport, leaping onto the wing of an aircraft, and then banging on the windows of the aircraft, local media outlets report.
According to Atlanta police spokeswoman Stephanie Brown, Jhryin Jones scaled a fence at the airport and darted onto the active taxiway. He proceeded to mount the wing of a Delta Air Lines flight and hammered on the windows.
Jones was subsequently taken into custody and charged by Atlanta Police with criminal trespassing, public indecency and obstruction of law enforcement officers.
The airport said that the incident did not affect flight operations.
