The LUNGevity Foundation will host its second annual Breathe Deep DC 5K walk on the National Mall this Sunday.
The walk is to raise awareness and funds to help fight lung cancer, the nation’s biggest cancer killer. The LUNGevity Foundation is a nonprofit that funds research for the detection, treatment and cure of lung cancer.
Thousands of walkers and 90 teams are participating in Sunday’s walk. Onsite registration begins at 9 a.m. and the walk begins at 10 a.m. To register in advance, click here.
