Mayor Kardashian from Glendale, Calif. … yeah, that doesn’t sound quite right.
Kim Kardashian told her sister Khloe that she was interested in pursuing a mayoral bid in an unaired clip from an episode of “Khloe & Lamar.”
“I decided I’m going to run for the mayor of Glendale,” Kim said during a car ride with Khloe. “It’s going to be in, like, five years. So I have to buy a house there, you have to have residency there.”
She said she already knows who she wants to run her campaign and that she and her friend are looking into all the requirements.
Her advantage in Glendale? Her Armenian heritage, of course. “It’s, like, Armenian town.”
According to ABCNews.com, the city of approximately 200,000 is home to more than 50,000 Armenian-Americans.
Although that still doesn’t guarantee her one single vote.
Out of the darkness
Vanessa Williams’ new memoir reveals a lot of dark days in her past.
In an interview with ABC’s “Nightline,” the actress revealed she was molested when she was 10 and had an abortion in her teens.
“Being pregnant is the most frightening thing that happens in your life,” she said. “I knew in high school that’s something that I was not prepared to do or fight or struggle with.”
Vanessa said she hopes her story will inspire others who are trying to rise above their circumstances. “I’ve learned to embrace my past,” she said. “I embrace the choices that I have been given in my life.”
