Pay homage to young and more seasoned vets of the big screen with this night of shorts by Baltimore Hispanics in celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month. The first of its kind, Adelante Familia’s “Opening Roads/Abriendo Caminos” (2002) documents Latino life in Charm City. Mauricio Osorio’s “The Room” won at last year’s CAmm Slamm, and his “Elizabeth” tells the comical story of cultural miscommunications between a young Colombian and his future American father-in-law.
