Eric Gilliland is making the move from the National Association of City Transportation Officials to head up Capital Bikeshare.
Gilliland has more than 10 years of experience with bicycling organizations. He was executive director of the Washington Area Bicyclist Association before leaving in April 2010 to serve as the executive director of the NACTO.
“I’m very excited to be working with on this program with such an incredible and hard-working team,” Gilliland said.
