President Trump criticized the top Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee, calling him “sleazy” for discussing the investigation into Russian meddling on television.

Schiff, D-Calif., and the House Intelligence Committee are investigating ties between Trump campaign officials and Russia.
The president has called the committee’s probe, as well as others from the Justice Department and Senate Select Committee on Intelligence, “fake news” and a “witch hunt.”
The tweet from Trump was one of several the president sent Monday morning referencing the Russia investigation.
Trump also criticized the House and Senate Intelligence Committees, as well as “beleaguered” Attorney General Jeff Sessions, for not looking into ties between “crooked” Hillary Clinton and Russia.
