Rudy Giuliani has shrugged off being booed at Yankee Stadium on Memorial Day, saying jeers were how New York Yankees baseball fans show their support.
“No, no. I know Yankee fans. They boo you when they love you,” he told Fox News Wednesday, when asked whether the response upset him.

Giuliani, one of President Trump’s personal lawyers, was booed Monday when the announcer for the Yankees’ game against the Houston Astros told the crowd the former New York City mayor was celebrating his 74th birthday.
According to one reporter at the stadium, “thunderous boos rained across the stadium” when the announcer wished Giuliani a happy birthday.
