D.C. residents home for the holidays in snowy Denver can hear former Chancellor Michelle Rhee speak at the Denver Athletic Club.
Rhee is scheduled to speak from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Monday as part of a “special presentation” from the Donnell-Kay Foundation, a Colorado school reform organization.
Rhee recently started StudentsFirst, a nonprofit advocacy group dedicated to endorsing legislation and funneling money into communities that further her reform ideas. The group’s first goal is to gain $1 billion and 1 million members. Rhee told The Washington Examiner she will roll out a legislative agenda for school reform in the coming weeks.
