Justin Bieber headed back on tour amid bout with Ramsay Hunt syndrome

Justin Bieber is going back on tour after being diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt syndrome, causing him to have facial paralysis.

In June, Bieber revealed he would take a break from performing due to his diagnosis.

“It is from this virus that attacks the nerve in my ear and my facial nerves and has caused my face to have paralysis,” Bieber explained in an Instagram video. “As you can see, this eye is not blinking. I can’t smile on this side of my face. This nostril will not move. So there’s full paralysis on this side of my face.”

Musician Usher spent time away with Bieber and his wife and told Extra that he is “doing great.”

“Seeing him on vacation, we managed to hang out with each other, and I think that whatever he may be experiencing right now, it’s actually really great to see that he has the support from his fans and his family,” Usher said.

“I’m reminded [God] knows all of me,” Bieber wrote in an update to fans last month. “He know[s] the darkest parts of me that I want no one to know about and he constantly welcomes me into his loving arms. This perspective has given me peace during this horrific storm that I’m facing.”
