The South Carolina senator, who mounted his own unsuccessful bid this year for the Republican nomination, said in a statement Friday he “cannot in good conscience support Donald Trump because I do not believe he is a reliable Republican conservative nor has he displayed the judgment and temperament to serve as Commander in Chief.”

He also took to Twitter to announce his displeasure for both candidates.

Graham also said he will not attend the GOP convention in July in Cleveland.
“After the election, regardless of who wins, I’ll do everything I can to help new President deal w/ the many challenges facing our nation,” he tweeted.
Graham has been against Trump for months, telling CNN late last year he is “a race-baiting, xenophobic, religious bigot.” Like all major Republican presidential candidates, he signed a loyalty oath to support the eventual nominee but many leading Republicans have expressed reluctance to endorse Trump.
