NEW YORK (AP) — A once high-flying stockbroker who admitted conning the producers of Broadway’s “Rebecca” was sentenced Friday to nearly three years in prison as one of the show’s top producers looked on.

“I wanted to look him in the eye. He did a terrible thing,” producer Ben Sprecher said outside court after watching Mark Hotton’s sentencing.
