Local students take dance skills to NBC

What do a magician, parkour practioner, ensemble singer, dancer, an animal act and a clogger all have in common?

Well, none of them probably know what a “clogger” is, including the clogger (what is this?). But they’re also all acts competing against the West Springfield High School Dance Team on NBC reality show “America’s Got Talent,” airing Tuesday at 9 p.m.

The show spotlights amateur performers in the good ‘ol U.S. of A., including the movers and shakers from our own Fairfax County Public Schools.

While the show airs Tuesday night, the results won’t be revealed until Wednesday’s program; so clear your schedule, google “clogger,” and support the local kids.
