A man charged in connection to the violent Capitol Hill siege last week died on Saturday.
Christopher Stanton Georgia died in his Georgia home, according to a police report cited by Atlanta station 11Alive News. The cause of his death has not been released.
Documents from the Superior Court of the District of Columbia detail that Georgia was charged with attempting to “enter certain property, that is, the United States Capitol Grounds, against the will of the United States Capitol Police.”
The documents said Georgia stayed outside past the area’s 6 p.m. curfew, and when officers asked him and others to disperse, he did not.
According to the report by police in Alpharetta, Georgia, two rifles were removed from Georgia’s home.
At least five people died in connection to the U.S. Capitol breach on Wednesday, one of whom was a U.S. Capitol Police officer.
