Roy Moore asking voters to report ‘inappropriate news organizations’ to his campaign

Roy Moore now has a page on his campaign website for voters to “report inappropriate news organization contact” in an ongoing attempt to fight back against reporters’ coverage of allegations of sexual misconduct by the Alabama Republican U.S. Senate candidate.

“In the past month our hometown, county, and state have been invaded by the Washington Post and liberal media,” his wife, Kayla Moore, wrote in a Facebook post Wednesday. “Reports coming in are that they are wanting anyone who knows us or has known us in the last 40 years to tell them anything about us, it’s called a witch hunt. We are filing suit.”

In order to assist their lawsuit, the Moore campaign is asking Alabamans to “to sign off on if you have been harassed by these people” using the “report news contact” form on the website.

The form says that people will get a quick response from the Moore campaign team if they provide contact information and a brief description of the incident.

News of the contact form comes just one day after voters in Alabama reportedly received robocalls from the Washington Post asking for damaging information on the candidate, which was quickly debunked by the newspaper.
