Thousands of Trump supporters sing national anthem after ‘Million MAGA March’

Thousands of Trump supporters were seen singing the national anthem near the White House after a day of rallying in support of the president.

“There was a lot of violence today against attendees of the #MillionMAGAMarch. Now, a large crowd sings the American national anthem outside the Willard Hotel in DC. Video by @BGOnTheScene,” journalist Andy Ngo tweeted on Saturday night.

The scene came after other videos showed counterprotesters attacking Trump supporters in the nation’s capital.

“BREAKING – Multiple Trump supporters assaulted by pro-BLM supporters in Washington D.C,” the Daily Caller’s Jorge Ventura posted on Twitter Saturday evening. “One of the supporters assaulted was brutally knocked out. The scene is chaotic right now.”

Earlier in the day, thousands were seen singing the national anthem in unison during the rally.

President Trump made an appearance at the rally, driving by in his presidential motorcade and giving the participants a thumbs up.

Called the “Million MAGA March,” the event billed itself as a peaceful protest against perceived voter fraud and in support of Trump’s legal battles contesting the election.

“RIGGED ELECTION. WE WILL WIN!” the president tweeted Sunday morning.
