D.C. police are investigating a sexual assault that occurred in Northeast D.C. Thursday night.
A female victim reported being accosted at gunpoint on the 1300 block of 45th Place NE at about 11:00 p.m. Thursday. A male suspect approached her from behind and ordered her to the ground, then sexually assaulted her at gunpoint, according to police.
Police described the suspect as a black male between the ages of 15 and 22, about 165 pounds with a medium complexion. The suspect was reportedly wearing a white polo shirt with green and blue stripes and tan pants.
