Rush Limbaugh Loses Credibility!

Not because of his stridency regarding John McCain. And certainly not because of his righteous advocacy for the Romney campaign. No, Rush loses credibility because of the following nugget in his daily newsletter:

Super Bowl Preview: Rush and NFL Great Ken “the Hutch” Hutcherson. The Hutch picks the “hungry-eyed” Giants, maybe in a rout! You have to take this seriously, folks, because this is a man who played the game.

If you’re feeling embarrassed because you’ve never heard of the legendary Hutch, don’t be. Ken Hutcherson ain’t exactly a household name, in spite of his stellar three year career back in the 1970’s. Second of all, if Vince Lombardi came down from heaven and predicted a Giants rout, we would conclude that the ease of life in heaven had softened the great man’s judgment. In other words, a prediction of a Giants rout, regardless of who makes it, is not to be taken seriously. There will be a rout on Sunday, but the greatest team in the history of professional sports, the undefeated 2007-2008 New England Patriots, will be the ones doing the routing.
