Three anonymous Silicon Valley conservatives have announced their intention to create a news aggregation site to rival the Drudge Report following what they describe as his recent leftward tilt.

They recently launched a new campaign to determine the appeal of such a site. Their new campaign, titled “Free Matt Drudge,” explains, “We love Matt Drudge and know the only way the Drudge Report would have gone so far left is if he was being held hostage in some progressive’s basement. For this reason, we demand his immediate release without condition,” but it also adds that the hostage scenario was “obviously satirical.”
