Through Saturday: Zestfest, through Saturday
Zestfest, a three-week-long outdoor festival in the NoMa neighborhood of D.C., wraps up Saturday. From 5 to 11 p.m. Friday, catch a retro bike show. Saturday and Sunday: Northern Virginia BrewFest
Head out to Centreville for one of the best beer events in the D.C. metro region. The fourth annual Northern Virginia BrewFest presents its fall edition featuring more than 40 breweries from around the world. With selections from Charlottesville and Baltimore to Germany and Belgium, you won’t go thirsty. Throw in some food, wine and music, and you have a complete afternoon. Through Monday: Spooky Movie Film Festival
Yep, Halloween is just one week away, but that doesn’t mean you can’t get your scare on a week early. This international horror film festival runs through Monday at AFI Silver Theatre in Silver Spring, Cinema Arts Theatre in Fairfax, and the Alamo Drafthouse in Winchester. This weekend features a number of theatrical show closings. Here are two that, if you haven’t seen them, time is running out.
