Father allegedly kills daughter’s boyfriend with cinder block, claims he sold her into sex trafficking

A Washington state father has been arrested as a suspect in the murder of his daughter’s ex-boyfriend, who allegedly sold the minor into sex trafficking.

John Eisenman, 60, from Spokane, Washington, was arrested and charged with first-degree murder on Oct. 29, according to a statement from the Spokane Police Department. Days earlier, officers from the SPD had discovered a dead teenager in the trunk of a car registered back to Eisenman after receiving reports of a “foul odor.”

“On 10-22-21 SPD officers responded to the area of 18000 E Everett regarding an abandoned vehicle with a ‘foul odor’ emanating from it,” the statement read. Upon investigating, officers later identified the body as being 19-year-old Aaron Sorenson, the former boyfriend of Eisenman’s daughter, according to KIRO 7 News.

Eisenman allegedly discovered in October 2020 that Sorenson had sold his daughter to a Seattle-based sex-trafficking organization. Soon after this discovery, Eisenman was able to “rescue” his daughter, according to the police statement.

In November 2020, Eisenman learned Sorenson was going to be in the city of Airway Heights. Eisenman allegedly abducted Sorenson, tied him up, and placed his body in the car. He allegedly “assaulted” Sorenson with a cinder block and repeatedly stabbed him, resulting in the 19-year-old’s death, according to the statement. After the incident, Eisenman ditched the vehicle with the body in the trunk at a “remote location in North Spokane County.”

The car stayed in that same location up until October 2021 when a third party took the vehicle to Spokane — not knowing about the body in the trunk — abandoning the car on Everett Street.

During the vehicle’s time on Everett Street, several local “individuals” began going through the car and stealing items from it, discovering the foul odor coming from the trunk, according to the statement.
