Samuel Little, ‘the most prolific serial killer in US history,’ dies at 80

Samuel Little, called “the most prolific serial killer in U.S. history” by authorities, died in a California hospital Wednesday evening.

Little, who suffered from diabetes, heart trouble, and an assortment of other ailments, was 80 at the time of his death, according to the Associated Press.

Little’s killing spree lasted from 1970 to 2005 and spanned multiple states across the country. A former boxer, he would knock his victims out and then strangle them to death. Most of the victims he killed were black women, many of whom were sex workers or addicted to drugs.
