Tiger Woods will open two learning centers in the District of Columbia this fall.
The Tiger Woods Learning Centers will be part of existing branches of the Cesar Chavez Public Charter Schools, one on Capitol Hill and the other off the Anacostia Freeway, according to a statement posted on the foundation’s Website.
“The two campuses will bring the best of our curriculum to some very deserving kids,” Woods said.
The curriculum will include science, technology, engineering, math and communications, and be taught by a staff of five to eight teachers hired and paid through the golf star, his foundation and sponsors. The cost of the centers wasn’t disclosed.
Woods has one learning center in his native California for underprivileged children grade 5 through high school.
