The process to confirm Supreme Court Nominee Brett Kavanaugh is back in motion as the Senate takes a vote just a day after reviewing documents from the FBI investigation into the sexual assault allegations Kavanaugh faces from California professor Christine Blasey Ford.
The investigation, which had been demanded by Democrats and some Republicans, including Sen. Jeff Flake of Arizona found “no corroboration of the allegations.” Flake, along with Republican Sens. Susan Collins of Maine, Lisa Murkowski of Alaska, and Democratic Sen. Joe Mancin of West Virginia, remain key votes in the process.
