A Florida man, Cesar Sayoc Jr., was arrested Friday morning in connection with the pipe bomb packages sent to prominent Democrats, multiple outlets are reporting.

A Justice Department spokeswoman confirmed one person is in custody, and said the department would discuss the arrest Friday afternoon.
