President Trump told supporters in Florida that it was time for Democrats to move on from the Mueller report and accept that it had cleared him of colluding with Russian authorities.
At a campaign rally in Panama Wednesday evening, he said America has bigger issues to address.
“The Democrats really should be focused on restoring and helping the Emerald Coast of Florida,” he told an audience that is still recovering from 2018’s Hurricane Michael. “It’s time to come together for the people of Panama City, the people of Florida, for the people of our country. It’s time to stop this nonsense.”
Trump said it was time to focus on issues that matter to Americans, such as rebuilding infrastructure, rather than rehashing the investigation into alleged collusion with Russia.

“Instead of wasting time, energy, taxpayer dollars on partisan stunts and hoaxes and witch hunts, Democrats should be focused on building up our country,” he said. “Did you see what just happened by the way? No collusion, no obstruction, no anything.”
Trump also told supporters that that Florida will get $448 million in disaster recovery funds to help it recover from Hurricane Michael. He said the newest funds will come through the Department of Housing and Urban Development.
House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerry Nadler, D-N.Y., has been seeking to get special counsel Robert Mueller to testify before Congress. Trump said Sunday that Mueller should not testify.
“After spending more than $35,000,000 over a two year period, interviewing 500 people, using 18 Trump Hating Angry Democrats & 49 FBI Agents – all culminating in a more than 400 page Report showing NO COLLUSION – why would the Democrats in Congress now need Robert Mueller to testify,” Trump said on Twitter.
“Are they looking for a redo because they hated seeing the strong NO COLLUSION conclusion? There was no crime, except on the other side (incredibly not covered in the Report), and NO OBSTRUCTION. Bob Mueller should not testify. No redos for the Dems!” Trump added.
….to testify. Are they looking for a redo because they hated seeing the strong NO COLLUSION conclusion? There was no crime, except on the other side (incredibly not covered in the Report), and NO OBSTRUCTION. Bob Mueller should not testify. No redos for the Dems!
