A woman used pepper spray on a man Tuesday after watching him take pictures of children — unaware they were his children.
The attack occurred in Arlington, Virginia, when a woman observed the man and first notified a nearby security guard of the situation, according to Wednesday’s crime report.
After the guard discovered that the children belonged to the man, the woman approached and deployed the spray. She then fled the scene.

Police say their investigation is ongoing and that the woman is still at large. They are searching for a black woman in her late 20s to mid-30s on charges of “malicious injury by caustic agent.”
“The victim sustained non-life threatening injuries and was treated on scene by medics,” the report reads.
