On Friday, only half of the most-circulated newspapers in the United States commemorated the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks on their front pages.
The Wall Street Journal, USA Today, New York Daily News, the Washington Post and the Chicago Sun-Times each reserved space Friday morning to say a word about the nearly 3,000 Americans who were killed in 2001.
The New York Times, Los Angeles Times, New York Post, The Denver Post and the Chicago Tribune found others things to report on, including DUI checks and the false arrest of a tennis star.
