SEATTLE (Legal Newsline) – Washington Attorney General Bob Ferguson warned consumers on Thursday about email scams related to a recent payment card data breach at luxury specialty department store Neiman Marcus. The store recently announced that some of its customers’ payment cards were fraudulently used after making purchases at its stores. Neiman Marcus said it would send an email offering free credit card monitoring and identity theft insurance to all of its customers who shopped with the company online or in the store in the past year.
