MSNBC host Joy Reid aired a playful throwback segment on her show Sunday, inviting viewers to remember how former White House press secretary Sean Spicer once pretended to be the Easter Bunny at a White House Easter Egg Roll.
“Every year the White House hosts its annual Easter Egg Roll, but this year’s 140th Egg Roll will be missing a certain special spice,” Reid said.
“You’ll recall that before he briefly and painfully served as Donald Trump’s White House press secretary, Sean Spicer had the distinction of being the White House Easter Bunny,” she added.
