CNN anchor Brooke Baldwin shut down an interview Friday after a guest, Fox Sports Radio’s Clay Travis, brought up his appreciation for “boobs.”
During a discussion about the feud between ESPN anchor Jemele Hill and the Trump administration, Travis opined the sports network lacks a tolerance for conservative points of view.
“I’m a First Amendment absolutist. I believe in two things completely: the First Amendment and boobs,” Travis said.
Baldwin repeatedly asked Travis if he meant “booze,” saying that “as a woman” she had to clear this up, but Clay made it clear he meant “boobs.”
Fellow guest, former ESPN editor Keith Reed, criticized Travis, calling this kind of talk “irrelevant” and said, “It shouldn’t be brought up here.”
Within a few minutes, Baldwin shut the interview down. “That was entirely inappropriate,” she said after the guests were cut off and apologized to her audience for Travis’ comments.

Travis later tweeted that CNN was “so offended” that the network called him back for an interview on Monday.
