The Washington Examiner filmed three people from Cuba climbing over shipping containers being used as a makeshift border wall in Yuma, Arizona.
These containers have been placed here by the state to try and fill gaps in the border wall. The federal government has stopped the construction of the border wall in this area since President Joe Biden came into office. Right now, the Arizona government is fighting to keep the shipping containers in place permanently, unless the federal government allows for construction to be finished along these portions of the wall.

Sensors are placed along the wall to trigger cameras to capture people attempting to illegally cross into the United States. Police apprehended the immigrants quickly after they made it down. We were told others who have tried to cross at this exact point have died from injuries after falling off the containers.

Where these three immigrants crossed, we spoke to workers at a farm along the wall who said since the shipping containers have been put here, they have a lot fewer people coming through their crops and on their land.
