Trump to meet with Harley-Davidson executives in Washington

President Trump will meet with executives from Harley-Davidson at the White House this week, press secretary Sean Spicer said on Wednesday.

“It was easier for the executives to come here considering the week and all the activities going on,” Spicer said.

The meeting comes after Trump was reportedly slated to visit with Harley-Davidson executives on a trip to Milwaukee.

However, the White House canceled the visit amid reports that the motorcycle company was nervous about potential protests over Trump’s presence.

“We’re concerned about American jobs, moving this economy forward, and we’re excited to be welcoming them here to Washington,” Spicer said.
