Oldies But Goodies Cocker Rescue is hosting its annual charity auction and wine-tasting fundraiser this weekend — 100 percent of the proceeds will go back to the nonprofit.
OBG Cocker Rescue is run entirely by volunteers who rescue and rehabilitate abandoned cocker spaniels and get them ready for adoption. Founded in 1996, OBG is a no-kill shelter.
Cockers Uncorked! will be held Oct. 23 from 6-9 p.m. at Lyon Park Community Center in Arlington. Cost is $40; a $10 discount is given to designated drivers. For more information go to: http://www.cockerspanielrescue.com/.
