VIDEO: Rick Perry all but confirms White House bid

Former Texas Gov. Rick Perry all but confirmed a run for the White House in 2016 during an interview on Fox News on Wednesday.

Perry said he started an “intense program” in late 2012 focusing on foreign policy as well as domestic policy in an effort to be better prepared for when “I stand on the stage and debate this next time”.

Perry entered the crowded 2012 GOP field late and famously fell flat during a debate where he forgot the third agency of government he’d eliminate if he were elected president. The former Texas governor has already been to crucial swing states like Iowa and South Carolina in what appears to be shaping up as another run for the White House.
