The United Nations Is Watching

Reuters reports that “United Nations human rights experts on Friday called for a halt to racial profiling by U.S. law enforcement officers and a review of laws allowing police to use lethal force.”

With Rita Izsak, U.N. special rapporteur on minority issues, declaring: “I am concerned by the grand juries’ decisions and the apparent conflicting evidence that exists relating to both incidents.”

We pause for a moment while Ms. Izsak’s “concern” is noted.

After which the greatest democracy in the history of the world will get on with its work.
