Carroll residents with a passion for nature can volunteer at Piney Run Nature Center in Carroll County. Volunteers are needed mainly from 1 to 5 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays for answering phone calls, greeting visitors, providing care for animal care and using the cash register and computer entry database.
