Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren appears poised to rhetorically rip into Donald Trump on Thursday.
Warren, who is reportedly weighing a spot alongside Hillary Clinton at the top of the Democratic ticket, intends to call Donald Trump a “loud, nasty, thin-skinned fraud” on Thursday night, according to reports.
“Donald Trump is a loud, nasty, thin-skinned fraud who has never risked anything for anyone and serves nobody but himself,” Warren will say, according to ABC. “Donald Trump chose racism as his weapon, but his aim is exactly the same as the rest of the Republicans: Pound the courts into submission to the rich and powerful.”
At the American Constitution Society’s National Convention in Washington, D.C., Warren also plans to blast Trump’s race-based criticism of presiding Judge Gonzalo Curiel in a lawsuit involving Trump University. She will reportedly label Trump a “Mitch McConnell kind of candidate” and “House Speaker Paul Ryan’s kind of candidate” referring to the Republican leadership in Congress.
The senator’s forthcoming remarks of Trump build on her outspoken criticism of the GOP’s presumptive nominee. If Warren joins Clinton on the Democratic ticket, voters could expect similar rhetorical punches at Trump all the way until November.
