Massachusetts State Police said Monday a car drove into a group of pedestrians in East Boston, injuring at least nine people.
The incident took place near the taxi pool at Logan International Airport.
According to the Boston Globe, police believe the incident may have been the result of operator error. The driver stayed on the scene and is being interviewed by police.
Massachusetts State Police, Boston Police, Boston Fire and Boston EMS officials are all on the scene, state police said, and injuries are of varying severity.
