Singer Joy Villa grabbed attention on the Grammys red carpet Sunday with a gown that read “Make America Great Again.”
The back of the red, white and blue dress had “TRUMP” bedazzled on the train.
Villa initially walked the red carpet in a white cape, eventually removing it to reveal the pro-Trump gown.
The performer is not nominated for an award.
President Trump was called out by name within the first minutes of the Grammy Awards broadcast, when host James Corden rapped: “Wishes came true, we celebrate you, you gotta be thankful that this what you do, live it all up because this is the best, and with President Trump, we don’t know what comes next.”
Jennifer Lopez went next, introducing the night’s first award without saying the president’s name, but a heavy implication: “At this particular point in history, our voices are needed more than ever.”
