An Amtrak train struck and killed a pedestrian early Sunday outside Baltimore, according to Amtrak officials.
The unidentified pedestrian was struck about 2:30 a.m. in Middle River, about 10 miles north of Baltimore’s Penn Station, said Amtrak spokeswoman Karina Romero. No one was injured aboard the Boston-to-Washington train, which was delayed about three hours while an investigation got under way.
The victim was trespassing on railroad property, Romero said.
