The White House on Monday released the official portrait of first lady Melania Trump.
“I am honored to serve in the role of first lady, and look forward to working on behalf of the American people over the coming years,” Trump said in a statement with the portrait’s release.
In the photo, Trump is wearing a black scarf and suit jacket. The 25-carat diamond ring on her left hand was a 10-year anniversary gift from President Trump.
Melania Trump is expected to move to Washington, D.C., after their son Barron finishes his school year.
She is the second first lady born outside of the United States.
