In what initially was misreported as praise to NASCAR driver Brandon Brown, the Vermont GOP will host a “Let’s go Brandon” event in the phrase’s honor.
A rally is scheduled for Nov. 13 in Brandon’s Central Park and is reportedly set to include free T-shirts, hats, and other swag for audience members.
Any profited amount will go to the area’s Emergency Food Shelf.

The “Let’s go Brandon” chant originated as a gaffe-turned-meme. An NBC News journalist misreported that a crowd at an Oct. 2 NASCAR race was cheering for driver Brandon Brown when they actually yelled, “F*** Joe Biden.”
The saying has gone viral, from a chart-topping song in three places on Apple Music to a chant popular at sporting events and political rallies to a prank people have played at stores and airports when they ask staff members to page over the intercom: “Lesco Biden.”
