Mika Brzezinski signs deal to publish three books

MSNBC host Mika Brzezinski has signed a three-book deal with Weinstein Books that is said to be worth somewhere “in the high six figures.”

The “Morning Joe” personality’s deal will include an updated version of the 2011 book she wrote under Weinstein, Knowing Your Value: Women, Money, and Getting What You’re Worth.

The other two books will be published in fall 2018, including one called “Comeback Careers” and another focused on millennials.

The book deal was in the works prior to Brzezinski and co-host Joe Scarborough’s public feud with President Trump in late June.

“This was being discussed before the Trump remarks were made, and that incident did not have any effect on the deal itself or the subject matter for the books,” one source told Page Six.

Trump, frustrated with the engaged couple’s coverage of his administration over the past six months, called Brzezinski “low I.Q. Crazy Mika” and claimed she was “bleeding badly from a face-lift” during a trip to his Mar-a-Lago golf resort in Palm Beach, Fla.
