DALLAS (AP) — Dallas police say an unidentified body has been found in a drainage ditch by a person collecting some cans.
Police on Wednesday said an autopsy has been ordered and homicide officers are investigating the unexplained death.
A man picking up cans flagged down a Dallas Fire-Rescue ambulance crew on Tuesday night to report what he thought was a body. Police located some badly decomposed remains in the underbrush of the ditch.
Further details were not immediately released about the gender or possible age of the person.
