The Englands, longtime educational philanthropists, have donated $250,000 to Gallaudet University to establish the Richard and Lois England Hillel Program and the Richard and Lois England Scholarship. The Hillel Program fund will support holiday services, dinners and activities organized by Gallaudet’s Hillel, an organization for Jewish life on campus. The scholarship is based on the university’s judgment and will be open for all students. The Lois and Richard England Foundation has contributed to Gallaudet since 1993.
