‘Surgery is imminent’: Fox Nation host reveals she’s getting treatment for brain tumor

Fox Nation host Britt McHenry announced she is receiving treatment for a brain tumor.

“I was trying to keep this relatively private. But as usual, things are being said without my consent,” the host wrote Thursday. “I have a brain tumor. I’m with an amazing medical team and surgery is imminent. Thank you for continued support and understanding at this time.”

“I had good & bad news today,” McHenry added in a follow-up tweet. “Overwhelmed by the support by friends & strangers alike. With the best surgeons and doctors. Just another thing to take on. Please I can’t stress enough, make your check-ups. Get an MRI early. It could have saved me.”

The View host Meghan McCain, whose father died of a brain tumor, wished McHenry the best on a recovery. “Sending love and strength Brit. Please let me know if there’s anything we can do,” McCain said.

McHenry, a former ESPN employee and Fox News contributor, filed a lawsuit against Fox News late last year, claiming her former co-host sexually harassed her and called the network a “sanctuary for sexual harassers.”
