President Trump offered his “deepest condolences” via Twitter after a Marine plane crashed in Mississippi on Monday, killing at least 16.

First lady Melania Trump also offered “deepest sympathy” to the military families.
“My deepest sympathy to all of the miliary families who lost their loved ones in the Mississippi plance crash. Thoughts & prayers for all,” she wrote.

The KC-130, an aircraft used to refuel planes in the air and transport troops, crashed in rural Mississippi on Monday afternoon, killing all members on board.
The cause of the crash was not immediately known.
